⭐ Math Superstars STARTS NOW! ⭐

Math Superstars is a PTA-sponsored, voluntary math enrichment program, spanning grades from Pre-K through 5th grade.

The goal of the program is to develop an appreciation for math, enhance and challenge a student’s mathematics skills, and foster more opportunities for dialog between student and caregivers. Participation is completely optional. However, there will be fun and prizes distributed through the year for attaining more points.

Students can participate by completing math assignment packets assigned to their grade level over the course of year.

Once completed, those assignments are scored, points are tallied, and the student are awarded PRIZES!

Student scores will be posted, and prizes will be distributed to homerooms.

More math = More points = More prizes!

Visit the PTA webpage for the grade-level packets, pick up dates, and more!

The first pick up date is scheduled for October 4th

Math Superstars is 100% parent volunteer run. Parents grade and score papers, organize and pack prizes, and prep for other recognition opportunities.

We always need an extra hand. Contact shaili.shah@gmail.com if you would like to help!

Walking Wednesday: WALK and VOLUNTEER!

PARENT PRO TIP! We have THREE check in stations. Want to avoid a line? Please walk with your child to the far bus lane or the pavilion behind the school. For safety: students should not be crossing traffic or walking behind the school unaccompanied.

🥇 Congrats to Ms. Boykins class, our third week Golden Shoe Winners!

If it's too far to walk from home, you can park next to the Oak Grove United Methodist Church and walk from there. Walking Wednesday is for walking, please don’t park at school.

We're looking for 3 volunteers each week to help tally walkers, hand out prizes, and cheer on our little striders. Your kids can join in too, helping with counting and meeting new friends, while you share a special moment with them. Plus, it’s a great chance for parents to connect with each other!
