**If you're submitting Visual Arts, please send a photo of your artwork and bring the original artwork to school (see more details below).
Here are some important things to remember:
-
Entries must be the creative product of the student artist alone.
-
It's encouraged that entries be an interpretation of this year's theme.
-
The entry form includes an Artist Statement where the student will describe the artwork and how it relates to the theme.
-
Entries will be judged by grade & by category at OGE (i.e., Visual Arts - 3rd grade, Photography - 1st grade, etc.).
-
Please be aware of rules for each art category! Rules for 2024-25 have not been released yet by GA PTA but will be made available here when they're available. View 2023-2024 Rules
-
Many of the categories will be digital submissions (film production, music composition, dance choreography, literature, and photography). We ask that Visual Arts entries be submitted both as the physical artwork originals and as pictures of your Visual Arts submission. After school-level judging is complete, advancing entries will move on digitally within the National PTA's Reflections portal. The physical artwork originals will be displayed at school and returned later in the year. For other artwork such as literature and photography that you'd like to be displayed at school, please send a copy of your art.
-
For students who identify as having a disability, a Special Artist Division is available.
